Cajun Pasta πŸπŸ˜‹

πŸ›’ Ingredients:

8 oz pasta (penne or fettuccine)

2 tbsp olive oil

1 lb shrimp, peeled and deveined

1 bell pepper, sliced

1 onion, diced

3 cloves garlic, minced

1 cup heavy cream

1 tbsp Cajun seasoning

Salt and pepper to Taste

green onions for garnish

Directions:

Prepare the pasta according to the package instructions, drain it, and set it aside. In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the shrimp and cook until they turn pink; then remove and set aside. In the same skillet, add the bell pepper, onion, and garlic, sautΓ©ing until softened. Pour in the heavy cream and sprinkle in the Cajun seasoning, allowing it to simmer. Return the cooked pasta and shrimp to the skillet, stirring to combine. Season with salt and pepper to taste. Garnish with green onions before serving.
