Ingredients
  

  • * 4 cups crispy rice cereal
  • * 4 cups mini marshmallows
  • * 3 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • * 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • * ½ cup orange candy melts
  • * ¼ cup white candy melts
  • * ¼ cup chocolate chips
  • * Halloween sprinkles as needed
  • * Candy eyes as needed

Equipment

  • Large saucepan
  • Wooden spoon or spatula
  • 8×8-inch baking pan
  • Parchment paper
  • Microwave-safe bowls
  • Knife

Method
 

  1. Line an 8×8-inch pan with parchment paper and lightly grease it.
  2. Melt the butter in a large saucepan over low heat.
  3. Add the marshmallows and stir until completely melted and smooth.
  4. Remove from heat and stir in the vanilla extract.
  5. Add the crispy rice cereal and gently mix until evenly coated.
  6. Press the mixture firmly into the prepared pan.
  7. Let it cool for about 10–15 minutes, then cut into 12 squares.
  8. Melt the orange and white candy melts according to the package directions.
  9. Drizzle the melted candy over the treats.
  10. Add candy eyes, chocolate chips, and Halloween sprinkles while the coating is still soft.
  11. Let the decorations set before serving.
    12. For easier cutting, lightly grease your knife before slicing the treats.

Notes

Store in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 3 days.
