Louisiana Voodoo Fries

If you’re ready to spice up your fries with a taste of the Bayou, these Louisiana Voodoo Fries are just what you need! Crispy, cheesy, and oh-so-satisfying, they’re the perfect blend of flavors to tempt your taste buds.

🌶️🍟 Ingredients:

– 4 large starchy potatoes (like Russets)

– 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese

– 1/2 cup cooked and crumbled bacon

– 1/4 cup chopped green onions

– 1 tbsp paprika

– Olive oil (for tossing)

Directions:

1. Preheat your oven to a toasty 425°F (220°C). 2. Slice your potatoes into fries, then soak them in cold water for at least 30 minutes. This step is crucial for making them crispy!

3. After soaking, drain and thoroughly dry the fries. Toss them with a drizzle of olive oil and the paprika until they’re evenly coated.

4. Spread the fries out on a baking sheet in a single layer and bake for 25-30 minutes, or until they turn golden brown and crispy.

5. Once out of the oven, sprinkle the hot fries with shredded cheddar cheese, crumbled bacon, and fresh green onions.

6. Pop them back into the oven for an additional 5 minutes, until the cheese is perfectly melted.

7. Serve hot and enjoy every cheesy, bacon-y bite!
