Cheese Sauce for Fries 🧀🍟✨

Ingredients:

– 200 ml whole milk

– 150 g Cheddar cheese, grated

– 1 tablespoon butter

– 1 tablespoon all-purpose flour

– 1/2 teaspoon mustard (optional)

– 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder (optional)

– Salt and pepper to taste

🟢 Instructions:

1. Prepare the Roux:

– In a saucepan over medium heat, melt the butter.

– Add the flour and whisk continuously for about 1 minute until smooth.

2. Make the Sauce:

– Gradually pour in the milk while whisking to avoid lumps.

– Continue stirring until the mixture thickens slightly.

3. Add the Cheese & Seasonings:

– Lower the heat and stir in the grated Cheddar cheese until fully melted.

– Add mustard, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Mix well.

4. Serve Hot:

– Pour over crispy fries and enjoy! Tip: If the sauce is too thick, add a little more milk to reach the desired consistency.
