🎃 Halloween Brownies
These easy Halloween brownies are rich, fudgy, chocolatey, and decorated with spooky candy eyes, Halloween sprinkles, ghost decorations, and chocolate spiderwebs. A fun and festive dessert for Halloween parties!
Ingredients
Method
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a 9×9-inch baking pan with parchment paper.
- In a large bowl, whisk together the melted butter and sugar.
- Add the eggs and vanilla extract and whisk until smooth.
- Sift in the cocoa powder, flour, salt, and baking powder. Stir gently until just combined.
- Fold in the chocolate chips.
- Spread the batter evenly into the prepared pan.
- Bake for 23–27 minutes, or until the edges are set and a toothpick inserted near the center comes out with a few moist crumbs.
- Let the brownies cool completely before decorating.
- Spread a thin, even layer of chocolate frosting over the cooled brownies.
- Add candy eyes, orange and black sprinkles, and small white ghost decorations.
- Melt the white chocolate and pipe thin spiderweb patterns over some of the brownies.
- Let the decorations set, then cut into 16 squares and serve.
* Don’t overbake the brownies if you want that fudgy center.* Let them cool completely before frosting so the frosting doesn’t melt.* For cleaner cuts, chill the brownies for 20–30 minutes before slicing.* You can use store-bought chocolate frosting to make this recipe faster.
Notes
These festive Halloween brownies are easy to customize with your favorite spooky decorations, making them perfect for Halloween parties, family baking, and school treats.
