Pinto Beans Ham Hocks Cornbread And Pickled Onions

Ingredients:

• 2 lbs Ham Hocks

• 1 lb Pinto Beans

• 3 cloves Garlic

• 1 32 ounce chicken broth (less Sodium)

• 1 tbsp butter

• 1 medium onion minced

• 1 stalk celery minced

• 1/2 Green bell pepper minced

• 1/2 tsp cumin

• 1 tsp paprika

• 1/2 tsp black pepper

• 1 tsp dried parsley and thyme

• 1 cube vegetable bouillon

Directions:

1-Boil Ham Hocks: Wash ham hocks and add to a stockpot with 8 cups of water. Boil for 2 hours.

2-Add Beans and Seasonings: Clean and wash pinto beans. Add beans, 32 oz chicken broth, minced garlic, and seasonings (cumin, paprika, black pepper, parsley, thyme, and vegetable bouillon) to the stockpot.

3-Simmer: Cook for another 2.5 hours or until beans are soft and buttery.

4-Serve: Enjoy with cornbread and pickled onions.
